Enrichment is a important part of life in our Junior Departments and complements academic studies, giving pupils the opportunity to choose from a wide range of activities. These will enable them to develop and achieve individual excellence beyond the realms of the academic curriculum.
Enrichment allows pupils to broaden their horizons, experience a sense of pride and achievement as well as develop new interests and skills.
It encompasses many different activities, including Music, Drama, and Sporting activities; Extra curricular clubs at lunchtime and after school; and regular opportunities for short courses in new skills, e.g. golf, dance and judo, delivered from visiting expert tutors. It also includes a wide range of Trips and visits which take place within both Junior Departments.
J6 conducted experiments on Reversible and Irreversible Changes.
