Highclare Senior School brings unparalleled levels of performance from its pupils in a wide range of sports including, Netball, Hockey, Swimming, Athletics, Cross country, Gymnastics, and has recently added Golf and Tennis to the list.

LATEST SPORTS RESULTS:

WEST MIDLANDS SCHOOLS’ CROSS COUNTRY

Congratulations to Grace in Year 7 and Laura in Year 8 who both represented North Birmingham at the West Midlands Schools’ Cross Country Championships at Oldbury on Saturday 21st January.

Grace finished 4th in the Year 7 girls’ 2000m race and Laura finished 5th in the Years 8/9 girls’ 3000m race.  Following this event, teams for the English Schools will be selected.  Fingers crossed that both our girls will be selected.

ISA NATIONAL GALA SWIMMERS 2011

Congratulations to Kristie, Katie and Harrison in representing the Midlands at the ISA National Swimming Gala.

All three swimmers won medals in their individual events. Kristie gained a total of 4 gold medals in the individual medley butterfly, medley relay and freestyle relay.

Katie also won 3 golds and a bronze in breast stroke, back stroke, medley and freestyle relays. Harrison (Year 4) won a bronze in his freestyle event.

We are extremely proud of our 3 swimmers and the whole Highclare team who all contributed to our 6th consecutive win at the regional gala.

Congratulations to Kristie , Katie and Laura who have qualified to represent the Midlands at the National Gala on Saturday 19th November at Coventry Baths. Also very well done, to both Katie and Kristie who have also been awarded a ‘Best Performer’ trophy each for their outstanding performances at the regional gala. These trophies will be presented at the National Gala.
