The Society of Heads National Animation Competition 2021 Prep School Winner

Posted: 9th June 2021

Congratulations Yr6 pupil Holly, winner of The Society of Heads National Animation Competition 2021!!

No Planet B is a stop animation film on the theme of climate change is an impressive short film on a subject we, at Highclare, are all passionate about.

“When it was announced that the topic of this year’s The Society of Head’s National Animation Competition would be on climate change, we knew it would be of huge interest to our pupils, who are already extremely knowledgeable on the topic thanks to our active Eco-Council.  The animations created by the children were all fantastic but Holly’s piece ‘No Planet B’ really stood out from the start.  The time taken, attention to detail and language used were extremely impressive and she is obviously passionate on the subject – a very well deserved win of a national competition, we are all extremely proud.”
