Highclare School Open Events June 2021

Posted: 19th May 2021

As Highclare School experiences an exciting Summer Term we look forward to welcoming families into school through a series of open events, including our popular School-In-Action tours.

School-In-Action events provide a fantastic opportunity to tour the school, ask any questions you may have and meet the incredible individuals that make our school so special, all on a typical school day. These are not ‘show’ days, but a real opportunity to get a feel for school life at Highclare School.

Due to the nature of the events it is necessary to book an appointment,  please register your interest with our admissions team prior to the event by emailing admissions@highclareschool.co.uk or calling on 0121 386 8218.

We are delighted to be able to offer in person tours for families interested in joining the Highclare family. For those families who wish to find out more about the school but are unable to visit,  we will still continue to offer virtual options. Please contact our admissions team who will be happy to advise.

We welcome enquiries about admissions to all classes in the school, from pre-prep upwards, at any time of the year.

GCSE Results

This year Highclare students have once again produced outstanding GCSE results.  Nearly one third of all grades were at the highest level of 7 and above and our overall pass rate was 92%, all of which are significantly above the national figures of 22% and 68% respectively.

Half of all grades were 6 and above and 98% of our full-time students achieved 5 of more GCSE passes. Having scored particularly excellent grades in Science and Maths, we are welcoming 4 students onto our Pre-Med scholarship program, designed to support students with medicine-related university applications.

Nearly 10% of our cohort have achieved 8 or more GCSEs at the top grades of 7 or above (or 35% achieved 7 or more GCSEs at the top grades of 6 or above).
