Prep School pupils from pre-prep through to Yr6 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in Science Week. This year children investigated the theme growth! For example, did you know the Eiffel Tower grows 15cm each year?!
As part of the week Mrs Darke set pupils 2 science tasks:
- Who can grow the tallest cress?
- Design a poster based on the theme Growth!
Following some fantastic entries our winners were announced in assembly.
The winning cress was 6.5cm long!! Jointly won by Henry in 4W and Buddy in 2P who both received a pack to grown their own sunflowers.
Our KS1 and KS2 poster winners all received science kits! We can’t wait to see what our Prep school science department chooses to investigate next!
