Our standard application procedure
Our standard application procedure is very simple and applies to all mid-year or mid-stream entries:
- Start by booking in with our admissions department for a private tour of your chosen school location. These tours are conducted by our leadership team on each school location
- Pay registration fee and submit application form. (Forms are issued by the admissions department on completion of a school tour)
- Agree an assessment and taster date with our admissions department and submit a school report
- Offers are issued upon completion of the above steps
Standard Entry Year Group Admission
Year 7 (U3) 2025 Admission
We hold two yearly assessment days for those pupils wishing to join us in Year 7*.
Our next application day for Year 7 (U3) is being held on Friday 14 March 2025

* Late applications for Year 7 2025 will be considered on request with the admissions department
Sixth Form 2025 Admission
Sixth Form applications at Highclare School are slightly different given our requirement for GCSE results.
- Sixth Form applicants are welcome to come for a tour of the school and are invited to submit predicted or mock results depending on the time of the year
- A conversation with our Deputy Head: Academic will follow in order to discuss chosen A-Level options and entry requirements
- Provisional offers are made to the applicant providing predicted results match and chosen subjects are being run in the following academic year
- Applicants should submit copies of their results to the admissions department on results day to confirm their place
