Community and charity is a huge part of the Highclare Schools ethos. Carol singing, food collections, young enterprise and hikes, Highclare pupils develop a sense of citizenship and engender a broader sense of social responsibility through a variety of charity endeavours.
Highclare School has a fantastic reputation for organising inspirational trips both in the UK and abroad. All trips complement classroom learning and provide incredible opportunities. Recent trips have included destinations such as Costa Rica, Iceland, Barcelona and Italy.
“At Highclare every pupil has a voice, from student council to pastoral breakfasts every pupil can be seen and heard.”
After Highclare most students choose to continue their studies at university. If you’re not sure what you want to do, there’s a careers adviser who will always help.
“Homework supports our daily lessons, remember to keep organised, your work neat and create a productive place to work at home”
Catering at Highclare is of an extremely high standard. Wilson Vale, our catering provider, places an importance on creating nutritionally balanced menus, serving fresh food from locally sourced ingredients. Take a look at this week’s menu here.
“My teacher are very kind and friendly, You can ask them where to go and if you get lost they will always help you.”
